The biannual session of ACCSCR was held on Thursday, 11th May, at 3:00 PM local time, with the participation of 15 out of 18 members of the Association. The meeting aimed to discuss the latest developments in the clinical trials industry and to introduce newly joined members to the rest of the association.

The meeting began with the introduction of the newly joined members. It is important to be mentioned that this was their first encounter with the rest of the members. Also, this was an opportunity for the new members to get to know each other and to share their expertise and experiences in the field of clinical trials. The stage was set to showcase their skills and to share their expertise with the rest of the association. These presentations were informative and well-received by all attendees.

Mr. George Tanaseanu, President of the Association, updated the members on the strategic partnership for the development of clinical trials in the country. This is a significant project that will have a positive impact on the clinical trials industry in the country. Targeted priority actions of the partnership, as they cascade from The Accelerating Clinical Trials in the EU (ACT EU) initiative, have been briefly introduced. The update provided valuable insights into the current state of the industry and the strategic direction of the Association.

In addition, updates were presented on the preparation of reference events, including International Clinical Trials Day observed on 20th of May (targeted day for the meeting, 19th of May), and the upcoming Annual National Clinical Trials Congress targeted for 17th November. It was underscored that all partners must actively get involved in these events, as they provide valuable opportunities for members to share their knowledge and experiences with all the other stakeholders in the industry.

Overall, the biannual session of ACCSCR was a successful event that provided valuable perspectives into the latest developments in the local clinical trials industry. The updates on the strategic partnership and the preparation of reference events underscored the importance of collaboration and participation within the association. The newly joined members were well-received, and their capabilities were appreciated by all attendees.
